 In 2007 the Iranian government apprehended 14 squirrels on their border for spying. The Arctic squirrel is much more interested in eating.

 Enjoying a summer hike on one of the many fells in the Pallas-Ylläs National Park. The last time we walked up here it was -26°c and just as beautiful.
White night period. 12°. Not quite warm enough to swim.  The sun finally sets for the first time in weeks. At least for a few minutes. This photograph was taken on the lake that we usually walk over during the winter season of our Aurora Chase.
