 Another day, another colour - the view changes daily up here at the moment. The trees and plants are changing their colours as the temperature starts to drop. And we are enjoying the sound of running water before it freezes!

 It's not just the trees that change colour. The whole landscape is moving to autumn.
Moderate aurora activity. 15°. Partly cloudy, with gaps.  And if you find a quiet place you can hear the leaves falling to the ground. We are still finding mushrooms to pick - if you look closely you can see a hole in the moss, lower left, where I picked one!
Strong aurora activity. 15°. Partly cloudy. It's lingonberry time! We're trying to film some of our picking experiences, so you know where your berries come from when you're with Arctic Frontier. This is one of my favourite places, I watch the seasons change from here.
Moderate aurora activity. 15°. Warm & cloudy.  On the road to autumn. 'Ruska' time is upon us - a Finnish term that is used to describe the period of autumnal colours. A really lovely time to watch the colours of the nature change.
Low aurora activity. 15°. Cloudy & rain.  The lakes provide some great autumn reflections. It's a magical time of the year - we watch the colours of the setting sun and wait for the aurora.
