All photography equipment is provided - cameras, tripods, remote controls and memory cards. Discover how easy it is to take your very own pictures of the Aurora with cameras preset for night photography. No prior photography experience is needed. You take home the memory card with your pictures at the end of the night. We don't follow a set route. The Aurora Chase is different every night and where we go depends on local weather and Aurora conditions. We drive anywhere between 60km and 300km per night. Our local knowledge of the terrain and weather patterns means we give you the best chance of catching the aurora. Arctic overalls and winter boots available. Includes professional instruction. |
Aurora Chase™ - Private

Duration: 3 hours, 19:00 - 22:00
Max. 8 people (TUE & THU only). 125€ (adults), 95€ (children). Escape to the Arctic wilderness. Aurora Base Camp offers large opens views of the North sky in a warm and private setting.

We follow a set route into the heart of the National Park area. Enjoy the warmth and comfort of a traditional Finnish cottage set on the private shores of a large Arctic lake. The big views of the North sky, far away from the village lights of Levi, provide the best stage for the Aurora. Experience the silence of the Arctic wilderness. Light a fire in the lakeside Kota and enjoy our famous warm brownies filled with local wild berries and our homemade hot berry juice. Bring your own camera and get some useful tips for Aurora photography. |
