Eat Arctic, Eat Wild
Experience the beauty and uniqueness of the Arctic through food. Cook with locally sourced ingredients and enjoy the delights of eating wild foods grown in the beautiful environment of Lapland.
Join us for a workshop in preparing and cooking food that can be found in the forests and wetlands of Lapland. We pick you up and take you to our kitchens to cook and share a meal together. Vegetarian, vegan diets and food intolerances, like gluten and dairy free, can easily be accommodated. Please let us know in advance.
Recipes include foraged foods that are in season and are contemporary versions of Finnish home cooking, such as elk meatballs and lingonberries with burnt butter sauce, nettle and feta pies, wild mushroom dumplings and smoked whitefish soup. The feast continues with desserts that we make created from locally foraged berries!
This activity can be undertaken in your own accommodation if booked as a group (min. 2 people).
