Good aurora activity. -2°. Partly cloudy. 65cm snow base.  Oxygen atoms in the atmosphere create the classic green glow of the aurora as they collide with the solar winds. The red hues are from nitrogen atoms. Thanks to Clayton Ward for this photo.
