 Tracking down the Easter Bunny. The Arctic hares up here are big enough to carry an egg or two. Two sleeps to go!
Good aurora activity. -2°. Part (but very beautiful) clouds.  The final days of the aurora season are upon us and we are still Chasing!
Moderate aurora activity. -5°. Partly cloudy.  The chapel @northernlightsranch. Beautiful from the outside as well.
Good aurora activity. -8°. Partly cloudy.  Getting into the picture at @northernlightsranch last night. We are working on a new Arctic Frontier experience for next winter.
Moderate aurora activity. -12°. Partly cloudy.  Auroras at sunset. The sun is returning to the Arctic! We will have to change our Chasing times in a few weeks because of the increasing daylight.
Good aurora activity. -10°. Clear, clouds arriving later tonight.  It's been a great week for auroras and we've had 6 nights of good aurora activity. Chasers' under the lights last night.

Medium aurora activity. -10°. Clear skies.  BOOM! Fantastic auroras last night - they were everywhere. Northern lights seen here in the southern sky.
Strong aurora activity. -15° and getting colder tonight. Clear skies, looking good!  A cabin with the best views of the northern lights.
High aurora activity. -17°. Clear skies - looking very promising for tonight! |
