 The clouds added another dimension to our pics on the Aurora Chase last night. It was a great night for the Northern Lights in Levi. We had to chase the gaps in the clouds, but we know the best places to find them! Arctic Frontier are specialists in reading the local weather conditions and our local knowledge of the area makes our 90% success rate #real!
Low aurora activity. -4°. Partly cloudy.  Chaser's having fun in the moonlight! Waiting for the sky to clear - we did find a clearing and we did capture the Northern Lights on the Aurora Chase. It is possible to have fun at night in the Arctic with Arctic Frontier, even without the green lights in the sky! And we have excellent brownies for those quiet, dark moments.
Low aurora activity. -7°. Clouds clearing.  We're taking a moment to enjoy the light on 'our' lake after the excitement of Christmas and to fill up the wood baskets ready for another Aurora Chase tonight. We're fully booked for the next week, please book ahead to join us on a Chase.
Good aurora activity. -10°. Part clouds - but we know where to go to find the openings!  ...magical photographs of the Northern Lights!

Medium aurora activity - we will be Chasing the gaps in the clouds tonight. 0°. Cloudy and relatively warm.  We can find beauty even when waiting to pick up our children from school! The colours of the midday sky this time of year are breathtakingly beautiful. The Arctic winter light, cold and vast sky create such amazing tones.
Good aurora activity - should be a good Chase tonight! -4°. Clouds forecast to arrive later tonight.  Auroras ahead. It's been a great week for Aurora Chasing. All of our guests have captured the Northern Lights on every Aurora Chase tour this week...and we've been busy! And there is more Aurora action forecast for the following week - looking good!
Moderate aurora activity. -3°. Clear skies with some clouds, not many.  We also enjoy photographing the gentle tones of the skies during the period of our day light. Watching the subtle light changes during the midday twilight is a unique experience. Taken at the top of a ski lift in Levi.
Low aurora conditions forecast. -2°. Cloudy with possibility of snow.  It's such a pleasure to be able to make people's dreams of the Northern Lights come true. Happiness radiates from these Chasers - a night that they will remember for the rest of their lives!
