 Let us take you on the road to the aurora! Our local knowledge of the area, our skills at reading the weather conditions and experience have made 90% of our Chaser's Aurora dreams come true. I need to add that these figures are not an indication of how 'lucky' we are to see the Northern Lights, it's a reflection of how skilled we are! And the brownies do help.

 -30°C. No problem. Thanks to the Lim Family for sharing this picture from last night's Aurora Chase. The Chase is ideal for family groups and something to remember for years to come. It has been a pleasure sharing the Arctic skies with our Chasers.
Good aurora activity. -17°. Clear skies.  Thanks to the Japanese press group for sharing a successful Aurora Chase with us! They were here for the special screening of the new Japanese movie Snow Flower. Filmed here in Levi.
Good aurora activity. -24°. Clear skies.  ...Another night filled with light. Full moon auroras. The shadows on the lake are from moonlight! Our Aurora Chase has been almost fully booked every night, please book ahead to join us!
Great aurora activity forecast. -26°...yes, we were all wearing our Arctic 'Ninja' suits! Clear sky.  Auroras with the light of a full moon. It was pretty cold out on the lake, but worth the wait and the magic of our brownies assisted the arrival of the Northern Lights. We feel lucky every time we are out on our lake - the silence, the clean air and the beauty of the light is magical.
Good aurora activity forecast. -20°. But it felt much colder on the lake! Partly cloudy.  Thank you to our Chaser's last night! We've had a fantastic January for auroras with over 90% of our guests capturing the lights. Last night the clouds won. Still, we got some great pics of the winter landscape. And our Chaser's now know how to take a photograph of the Northern Lights when they arrive again!
Low aurora activity. -19°. Clouds, with possible breaks.  Come and see some of the best night skies around with Arctic Frontier on an Aurora Chase. Loads of stars, and of course some nice auroras as well. And good brownies. This photograph was taken two nights ago.
Moderate aurora activity. -17°. Clouds.  Last night Kp2 auroras were forecast. We got a lot more. We generally recommended that you only use your Northern Light apps for a rough guide, find some dark skies without light pollution and look up. Although Juha is looking at the camera this time!
Great aurora activity. -14. Partly cloudy.  The stars have been amazing lately. The island may be distant, but the universe is further. And it's amazing to imagine that in 6 months time we will have to row to reach the island we can now walk to! The magic of the Arctic.
Low aurora activity - but we should capture some green in the sky! -6°. A few clouds.  Which one are you? We had a little bit of fun last night with light painting while waiting for the aurora on our Aurora Chase. Thanks to all our Chaser's for such a fun evening. Have a happy weekend everyone!
