We enjoyed our day hosting @lumene_uk at our cottage by the lake. And a big thanks to @inthefrow for the great pic! We spent the afternoon foraging and enjoying some of the wonderful foods to be found in the forests of Lapland. Capture some fabulous moments with Arctic Frontier.
White night period. 28°. Partly cloudy. Taking the boat out to the islands to pick a bounty of cloudberries. You can see the bay where we have been picking through the trees. These are the not so secret ingredient of our Aurora Chase™
dark chocolate brownies! White night period. 26°. Sunny & Warm Moonrise at midnight. This was taken during our Midnight Sun Photography Tour. As the sun was setting in the north the moon was rising in the south.
White night period. 23°. Cloudy. Colours of summer. The pink flowers are rose willow herb - we've been experimenting with making syrups, flavoured (pink!) salts and sugar from these flowers. We share some of these recipes in our Wild Food Cooking Workshops.
White night period. 23°. Cloudy. We are working on new recipes! Chaga is the wonder mushroom high in antioxidants. Great for your immune system. And tasty as well! Try it on our Forage, Fire & Feast or our winter experience Snow, Fire & Feast.
White night period. 24°. Clear skies. Food from our back yard. White Fish (type of wild salmon) from the lake, smoked using our wood, berries from the forest and herbs from our vegie patch. It's amazing that land frozen in winter can provide so much food in the summer.
White night period. 29°. Clear skies. The sun is setting again. Although it doesn't take very long for it to rise again. The nights are still full of amazing colours.
White night period. 30°. Partly cloudy. |
